Site selection
The light-loving plant feels comfortable in a well-lit, sunny place. It easily tolerates temporary light shadow. With prolonged or constant darkening, the bush begins to hurt and may die. It does not tolerate strong winds and drafts. The best place for growing crops is considered to be the southern or southwestern area near the building. After removing dry and old branches, the bushes are fertilized with urea. At the end of summer, a mixture of wood ash and superphosphate is added.
Trimming
Removal of old branches and thinning of young shoots is carried out to form the crown and for sanitary purposes. Pruning is done annually for all plants older than two years. In fruit-bearing shrubs, part of the branches is left, and for sterile varieties, radical pruning is used.
