1. Pour 0.5 teaspoon of boron into a glass of water.
2. Stir until completely dissolved. This will act as an activator.
3. Pour 0.5 cups of water with 30 g of glue into another bowl.
4. Stir until smooth.
5. You can add dye or paint. To make the slime glow in the dark, you can add phosphor paint.
6. The activator solution from the first glass is added to the resulting mixture in a small stream.
7. You need to pour in gradually, stirring all the time.
8. If the mixture begins to acquire the desired consistency, you should stop adding the activator to harden.
9. Lizun is ready.
10. The slime needs to be removed from the bowl, leveled on the table.
11. Iron oxide should be poured into its middle.

What to do if the slime does not work

There are cases when self-preparation of the slime does not give the desired result. It is important to understand that the final result is influenced by the following factors:

• Quality of the materials used;
• Compliance with proportions;
• Step-by-step actions.

If the slime is successful, then its mass will be homogeneous, uniform and easily removed from the container.

If the slime is not uniform, it can be saved by continuing to actively knead it until it acquires the desired viscosity and homogeneity.

If the slime is very sticky and stretches behind the spoon like spider web threads, you can try adding a little liquid starch or water, depending on the recipe. This will thin the consistency.

But if there is viscosity, but the slime simply slides off your hands without sticking to them, then it means that it has an excess of liquid. In order to get rid of it, you need to drain this excess, but you can add the required binding agent according to the recipe (glue, borax solution, flour). Mix everything well again.

How to keep the slime longer or proper care for the slime.
