Plastic containers are found everywhere. Sodas, milk, shampoos and detergents are often packaged in plastic containers. Every family throws such containers in the trash every month, unaware of their possible reuse. We present a selection of options for using plastic containers.
Wallet
This original wallet can be easily made from two plastic bottles of the same size. To do this, you need to cut off 2 bottoms from bottles 3–4 cm high, then use a glue gun to glue a zipper to the cut edge. We cut off the excess edge of the zipper, and the zipper wallet is ready. It is very convenient with such an accessory on the beach, because the wallet is waterproof.
Flower pots
Making pots for indoor flowers from plastic containers is as easy as shelling pears. Select a container of the desired size and cut off the bottom. The edge can be made smooth or curly, depending on your imagination. Be sure to make a hole in the bottom of the future pot with a hot awl. This is necessary so that excess water comes out. You can also make a shot glass pot from the top of the bottle. To do this, the lid is glued to the CD, and the cut off top is screwed into the neck. Before planting flowers, the pots are decorated with spray paint.
Napkin holder
You can cut an original napkin holder from colored flat containers for shampoo or dishwashing detergent. To do this, cut off the neck of the bottle so that a “glass” 12–15 cm high remains. From the “glass” we already cut out the shape of the future napkin holder: a swan, a heart or half a snowflake, it all depends on the occasion and season. For a specific figure, you can choose a container of the appropriate color: for a snowflake - blue, for a heart - red or pink, for a swan - white or black.
Garden decor
All existing bottles are used as garden decoration. For example, from a 5 liter bottle you get original pigs. To do this, a wall is cut out from one side of the bottle. The resulting piece of plastic will be used to make pig ears. Holes are made in the wide part of the container into which the ears are inserted. And then the pig is painted pink, 2 dots are drawn on the lid - a snout, and on the narrow part - eyes. When the pig is dry, soil is poured into the hole on its side and flowers are planted.
By throwing away unsorted plastic containers, a person not only pollutes the environment, but also deprives himself of the opportunity to be creative. After all, this selection is only a small part of what can be made from such a convenient and pliable material.
