Washing windows is a real pleasure for few people, especially if your apartment is not located on the first two floors of a multi-story building. Difficulties are also caused by the height of the windows, which is not easy for short people, or the height of the windows is so large that you have to build a “composition” of a table, chairs, and other furniture just to get to the windows, which is, in principle, an unsafe activity. Today, to make this job easier, you can use Karcher to wash windows.
The operation of a windshield wiper is based on drawing liquid from dirty surfaces of objects. The detergent is applied to the glass, and the microfiber nozzle washes the dirt across the surface.

Preparing for work
The windshield wiper requires initial preparation before performing its actual work. First of all, you need to read the instructions for the device. Next, you need to remove the spray tip and put the nozzle on it.Strengthen the structure with a ring and a napkin, and secure the latter with Velcro tape. The sprayer is filled with the necessary liquid, in a ratio of 1:20 with water. The liquid is sprayed over the contaminated surface. The cleaner can be equipped with a microfiber brush. Dirt is cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. After using the device, you need to rinse it thoroughly and charge it.
When using the device, take into account the recommendations specified in the instructions for this device:
- It is prohibited to use a steam generator to clean dust;
- The device may not be able to handle a large amount of liquid, since the maximum volume is only 25 ml;
- It is recommended to use detergent from the Karcher company, however, if this is not possible, you can use any other alcohol-free detergent;
- if necessary, you can replace the device parts with original parts from this manufacturer;

Cleaning large surfaces or tall windows
Different steam cleaner models may be equipped with different accessories. To clean high windows, a specialized brush has been invented and sold for sale, but if it is not included in the kit, you can purchase it additionally. The telescopic handle can increase the length during operation, and does not take up much space during storage. Mops with such handles make it easier to clean tall windows without an opening mechanism. The brush has the ability to move at any angle.
The glass is washed with a dampened brush. The water is removed with a rubber brush.If, after manipulating the brush, stains remain, the rubber component of the device is replaced with another one.

However, with regular replacement of parts, it lasts for about two years.
There may be uncleaned areas along the edges of the glass, and minor stains on the glass. The problem is explained by the design of the device: it does not wash the glass, but only absorbs the chemical liquid applied to the surface of the windows.
However, despite all the shortcomings, this device is ideal for cleaning windows.
Safety regulations
For ease of use, you must adhere to the simplest safety rules:
- create all conditions to ensure that the device does not fall into the hands of persons under 18 years of age;
- regularly inspect the ventilation openings for the absence of foreign objects;

- do not direct liquid into the eyes;
- to check thin surfaces, it is recommended to use the device for a short period before the main work;
