Work principles
The vacuum cleaner is presented in the form of a disk, equipped with a front bumper to sense obstacles using a sensor. This modern device runs on batteries.
At the first stage of cleaning, the vacuum cleaner scans the room, determining the area of work. The principle of operation is to go through one of the algorithms stored in memory: straight, in a spiral, along broken lines, with turns, along the walls. Then the vacuum cleaner follows the route, removes debris and returns.
Removal of dirt occurs over the entire moving surface, under furniture and in corners. When encountering obstacles, the device independently decides how to overcome it using special algorithms.
They are detergent, can clean carpets and can be launched through an application on the phone.
Advantages
- Saving effort and time. Thanks to the settings, the device can operate according to a set timer and does not require human presence.
- Remote work. Some models are so advanced that they can be started while away from home using the phone.
- Low noise level. During operation, the vacuum cleaner operates almost silently.
- Compactness.The device is small in size, which helps it fit under low furniture and takes up minimal storage space.
- Easy to use. It does not have dust bags that need to be changed periodically.
Flaws
- High price. The price of a robot vacuum cleaner is three to four times higher than the cost of a manual vacuum cleaner.
- Low power. The robot vacuum cleaner works effectively on hard surfaces, but will not provide high-quality cleaning on carpets.
- Cleaning corners. Due to its round size, the device does not remove debris in the corners of rooms.
- Preparing the apartment before cleaning. Before starting the robot, you need to prepare the room: remove socks, toys and other small things, otherwise they will all end up in the dust collector of the vacuum cleaner.
