Fitosporin is an effective biofungicide, an effective antifungal and antibacterial composition of a new generation. It is used to protect plants from bacteria in the soil and environment. The medicine seems to cover the plant seeds with a protective film.

Dilution of the solution

The composition is available in the form of paste, powder and liquid. The liquid is more relevant when spraying indoor plants because it has a gentle effect. And when buying a ready-made solution, you cannot be sure that the storage and transportation conditions were met. Therefore, it is an unreliable form of medicine, but for some reason it is popular among gardeners.

Mistakes are often made when diluting a solution. First, the diluted paste must be kept in a cool room for 20–30 hours so that the bacteria in the paste can become active. And the remains of Fitosporin should be left in a dark place. Moreover, dry powder should not be left open. You can leave it in the refrigerator and keep the package there until the next spraying period.

In addition, not everyone knows that all of the above is not enough, because you need to “revive” the paste in chlorine-free water with another fertilizer. And the main thing is not to overdo it with feeding. You only need to add 25–40 ml per liter of Fitosporin. This mixture is added to the pasta and then left to mature. To allow the bacteria in the composition to “breathe”, open the solution once a day.After 7 days, the solution can be used as a master solution, according to the recommendations on the package.

Processing methods

Before using the solution, vegetables must be watered. Otherwise, Fitosporin will not help, since live bacteria are not activated.

Many people make mistakes when processing greenhouses. The soil needs to be processed approximately one week before planting. If you do this earlier, Fitosporin will not help, because the beneficial substances will not be active. You need to spray not only the plants themselves, but also the entire greenhouse - this will increase the positive effect.

Processing frequency is also important. But you shouldn’t use the composition every day without taking breaks. The measure and quality of processing is important here. It is equally important to do this throughout the season. And at the root of the plant, because otherwise Fitosporin will not work. It is impossible to treat with Fitosporin in rain or very sunny weather. Bacillus subtilis will die and the drug will not be effective. Therefore, you need to wait 3 hours after the rain has passed.

Combined use with growth regulators

Also, some gardeners use Fitosporin and growth regulators at the same time, which is strictly not recommended. Some types of substances already contain growth regulators. And if it does not harm, it will not improve efficiency. In addition, you cannot combine it with alkaline components - they will kill the main composition of Fitosporin. Incompatibility can be detected if a precipitate forms as a result of mixing.

Thus, Fitosporin is an effective substance that treats many plant diseases: bacteriosis, root rot, snow mold and monilial burns. But its benefits remain only with correct use and proper storage of the substance.
