A clogged pipe is a common household problem. Dealing with it is not as difficult as it seems at first. You can clean your pipes quickly and easily without spending money if you use one of the many tips.
How to detect a blockage

To get rid of fatty plugs, you can use everything that is at hand:
- Every housewife has baking soda in her kitchen. It needs to be poured into the sink drain, about 200 grams. Pour the same amount of vinegar on top and close the hole tightly. After 15 minutes, rinse with water. Suitable for fresh clogs;
- Dissolve a glass of soda and salt in water.Pour into the sink drain. We check the effectiveness of the method after 20 minutes;
- citric acid is poured into the hole and filled with hot water. After an hour, we wash the pipes;
- Baking soda cannot break up an old clog, so we buy caustic soda. Pour 2 kg into a metal bucket. Fill with cold water. Make sure that the solution does not get on the skin. After the soda has completely dissolved, heat the bucket to 70 degrees. Pour half into the drain and leave for 2 hours. The remaining mixture is poured out after another 2 hours;
- washing powder will help with mild blockages or is used to prevent traffic jams. Only granular will be effective.
Methods for removing blockages are not so complicated, but it is better to avoid such situations and adhere to preventive measures. Buy a nozzle for the drain in the sink. Make sure that large pieces of food do not fall into the sink. Do not drain liquid fat, as it will harden and settle on the pipes.
