Perhaps every summer resident dreams of a rich harvest of zucchini. But this can only be achieved with proper care and regular application of fertilizers, which will nourish the soil and protect the crop from various diseases. There are four folk recipes that can easily cope with this task.
Boric acid
This component has a beneficial effect on zucchini and improves nitrogen synthesis. In addition, fertilizing has a stimulating effect on the formation of ovaries.
To prepare a solution of liquid fertilizer you need to have:
- boric acid – 2 grams;
- clean and settled water - 10 liters.
Combine the ingredients, stir well, and then process the vegetable crop. Moreover, you need to shed the soil and also spray the green mass. Homemade fertilizing improves the taste of zucchini and has a good effect on their appearance.
Yeast
Yeast feeding enriches the soil with nutrients. And this, in turn, has a positive effect on the growth and development of vegetables. Regular application of fertilizers significantly increases the yield and improves its quality.
It is very simple to prepare the solution; for this you need to prepare:
- nutritional yeast – 0.4 kg;
- warm water – 10 l;
- wood ash – 0.5 kg.
First, you should dilute the yeast in water and leave everything for a day. It is best to choose a warm place for this.Immediately before use, pour ash into the liquid, mix and process.
Herb tea
Another popular, and therefore safe, fertilizer is prepared from weeds, which abound in any garden plot.
Preparing such a solution is as easy as shelling pears. You need to fill the barrel with any herb, but without seeds, add water and ferment the solution for two weeks. Dilute the finished fertilizer 1 to 10 and use it as irrigation water.
Onion peel
An infusion of husks is considered an excellent preventative against various diseases. In addition, the infusion increases fruiting and improves the taste of the vegetable. For preparation you will need:
- onion peel - 500 grams;
- water – 2 liters.
Boil the husks for half an hour, then strain thoroughly. Before use, dilute with fresh water, then you can fertilize the zucchini. It is best to use the solution as a foliar feeding.
Any vegetable crop needs timely feeding. It is not necessary to purchase expensive fertilizers: the same result will be provided by folk remedies, which are always available.
