How to properly apply potassium fertilizers during the budding period of strawberries
Of course, you can use potassium salt, but if possible, it is better to purchase nitroammophoska. It contains three components necessary for garden crops: nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus.
Ingredients for preparing healthy fertilizer:
- 1 tbsp. l potassium salt;
- 2 tbsp. l nitroammofoski;
- about 10 liters of water.
The mixed solution is poured in an amount of 1/2 liter under each strawberry bush.
Organics and folk remedies
Organic edging during strawberry budding is no less important, but you can also prepare fertilizers from improvised means:
- Ash - with its help, plants grow much more actively.
- Chicken droppings awaken nutrients in the soil.
- Yeast - it is advisable to prepare a solution from it: for 1 kg of raw materials - 5 liters of water.
- Boric acid – promotes the formation of the ovary and reduces the number of empty flowers.
