Most housewives try to get rid of old and unnecessary things, this also applies to cutlery. There is no need to rush, for example, from used pots you can create amazing things that will be quite useful in the country and on the farm.
Flowerpot
An old, even leaky pan will make an excellent pot for your favorite flower. First, you need to decorate the inventory to give it a more attractive appearance. First you need to make drainage holes at the bottom, and then start decorating.
You can do this using the following instructions:
- apply the main color to the dishes;
- after drying, draw flowers;
- figurine;
- funny face;
- another drawing;
- coat with varnish and let dry.
From the resulting saucepan, if you attach strings to the handle, you will get a hanging plant pot. Or you can use it as a regular flowerpot.
Bird feeders
An old saucepan or kettle can be converted into an original bird feeder or water bowl. It will attract birds to the dacha plot, which will delight summer residents with their chirping, and at the same time scare away pests that spoil the harvest.
Making a house is not difficult, just clean a shallow pan of old paint, make holes in it and apply a fresh coat. Decorate if desired.
Then tie a rope to the handles, pour grain and seeds inside the saucepan, cover with a lid and hang on a tree.It is better not to place the feeder on the ground, as other animals may feast on the food.
Water dispenser
For the washbasin you will need a saucepan that has no holes. Also, the utensils should not be too rusty. Then paint it on both sides; polka dot washbasins look beautiful and bright.
After the paint has dried, drill a hole in the bottom, as close as possible to the bottom of the inventory. Place the tap in it and secure it with a nut.
All that remains is to hang the washbasin, fill it with water and you can use it for its intended purpose. A very convenient and necessary device for a garden plot.
Chandelier and lamp
Old dishes, including a saucepan, can easily be turned into an exclusive lamp, just use a little imagination. There are two options:
- pendant lamp;
- table lamp.
The side along the entire circumference needs to be decorated. This is done by cutting out patterns or drilling.
This is a labor-intensive process that requires patience. Next, apply drawings to the surface, and then drill holes along them. The end result is a very vintage looking lampshade.
