- soil water permeability - the roots should not be in constant contact with water, and the soil should not become too dry;

Purchase of seedlings

A closed system (ZKS) tolerates transplantation more easily, but in this form you can more often encounter scammers, because the roots of the seedlings are covered with soil and there is no way to verify their quality.
You can reduce the risk and purchase a healthy seedling from a trusted seller. Assess the condition by branches, roots and bark. The branches should be elastic and the roots should be brown in color. A plant with black spots at the roots, dry branches and dented bark is considered sick.
Planting roses
Seedlings with an open root system must be left in water for a day before planting. If their roots are bent, then it is not recommended to correct them yourself; they will straighten on their own. Before planting in the ground, all plants undergo root tip pruning. Trim to living tissue, all dead parts are removed.
Roses should be planted separately from each other. This is a plant that requires space. It does not grow well if there are other flowers from the rose family or other shrubs nearby.
