Cleaning your home is a long and tedious process. The hardest part is getting the lamps in order. The following tips will tell housewives how to properly and quickly wash a chandelier. Such knowledge will save not only energy, but also time. All necessary cleaning products can be purchased in specialized stores or prepared yourself. Properly organized work will not seem so troublesome.

Rule 1
In the case where the chandelier cannot be removed, or only some parts are removable, one of the methods should be used:
- Spray the lamp with a suitable cleaning agent. Spread any material under the chandelier to protect the flooring. A short time after sprinkling, drops of dirt will collect on the floor.
- Wash the parts of the lighting fixture with a cloth, after moistening it in a special solution. Then remove the stains.
- Small crevices are cleaned using a toothbrush.
- Bronze or metal parts can be easily cleaned with tooth powder.
Important! The chandelier can be connected to electricity only after it has dried thoroughly. Sometimes it drags on for a couple of days.
Rule 2
To clean a crystal chandelier, special cleaning agents – sprays – are used. They are usually expensive, but they are effective. Better cleaning occurs if the lamp is washed. All parts should be removed and a solution prepared. For the latter use:
- soap and soda;
- ammonia;
- dish soap.
It is necessary to put the elements of the lighting device into the prepared solution and wash it carefully. In case of significant contamination, you need to leave everything in the washing liquid for a while. Finally, you need to dry or wipe the parts with a dry cloth. The base of crystal chandeliers (metal frame) is simply wiped with a cleanser. The alloys used for lamps are resistant to corrosion.
Rule 3
A huge chandelier with several tiers is not only difficult to disassemble, but also difficult to assemble. Therefore it is recommended:
- First take a photo and then disassemble it.
- Arrange the removed elements separately in tiers.
- When assembling, follow the same order as when disassembling, but in reverse order.
Cleaning is carried out according to general rules. Special attention is required only during disassembly and assembly.
Rule 4
It is recommended to wipe all chandeliers with a microfiber cloth: it perfectly removes dirt without the use of additional products. You can effectively remove dust with a fluffy broom. Wooden parts are wiped with a damp cloth. To prevent streaks from remaining on the lamp, use two rags: initially wet and then dry.
Important information! Washing the chandelier is allowed only after a power outage. Do not touch metal elements until the wires are disconnected.
Rule 5
It is convenient to use glass cleaner to clean glass parts. This method is especially suitable for kitchen glass lampshades, since the cleaning liquid contains ammonia, which easily removes soot and grease.Ordinary vodka and diluted alcohol can easily remove stains left by flies. It is necessary to moisten a cotton pad with the liquid and wipe the contaminated areas.
Washing a chandelier is not as difficult as it might seem at first. But the result of the efforts, a shining lamp, will be noticed by everyone!
Hello. Fukortsin got on my furniture. I didn't have Ociton. But I had ethyl alcohol, chlorexidine, and callion, I mixed it all, added soda and began to stubbornly wash it. It took me about 5 minutes and there wasn’t even a trace left. Thank you
